Maya’s Christening took place at the Panayia Angeloktisti church in Kiti, a stunning 11th century basilica.
As a family photographer, it is such an honor to be able to capture a beautiful and unique moment in both the baby’s and the parents’ life. This is exactly why covering baptisms is one of my favourite things to do! I was truly delighted when Maya’s mum got in touch and invited me to photograph her daughter’s christening.
I always capture natural and unposed baptism and christening photographs that truly capture the essence and the emotion of the whole event, and narrate the entire story. After a beautiful christening ceremony, we covered a small private reception party at the family’s estate, and took portraits of Maya and her brother on the lawn! What a fantastic opportunity for friends and family from many countries to gather and celebrate young Maya!
