I am truly excited to present this family photo-shoot in the charming village of Pano Lefkara. Lefkara is one of my favorite villages on the island!
This lovely family from the United States wanted their family portraits to remind them of their stay in Cyprus. After scouting several potential locations for this photo-shoot, we settled with the gorgeous village of Lefkara! In fact this was the family’s first time in the village, and thus combined the photo-shoot with a wonderful family day trip!
Lefkara is possibly the most traditional and picturesque village on the island that definitely screams Cyprus. In fact, in 2015 made it to the list of the 30 most beautiful villages in Europe by the Travel Agents Association of Japan.
If you happen to be in Cyprus, do not miss the opportunity to visit Lefkara! Walk through the cobbled streets, see the delicate filigree silverware, marvel the stunning ceiling of the Timios Stavros church, and if you are lucky you might come across women working on their ‘Lefkaritiko’ needlecraft, a form of fine embroidery. Finish the day with dinner at the lovely Tasties restaurant with its unique colourful inner yard and amazing woodwork!
